Two of 2008's 8 Films to Die For:

Lake Dead - The horror part of it blew out the ass, acting sucked, but it was ridiculously funny and that made it fun to watch with a couple of friends. 6/10

Mulberry Street - Horrible. Unlike Lake Dead, there was about one funny line. Acting was decent, but effects were also horrible. 4/10

National Treasure 2 - Typical sequel, very disappointing.

Diary of the Dead - not bad at all. Good installment.

First Sunday - Kat Williams made the movie funny, but a classic Ice Crube heart warming comedy.

The Messengers - Yet another cheesy predictable horror movie but aren't they all anymore? Still, I thought this was one of the better ones. 6/10

The Strangers - I honestly thought it would be creepy from the previews but apparently I was wrong. 4.5/10

New Cinema - It's def. better than the previous ones but I'd love to see a credit/debit machine and not just an ATM, not crazy about the seats they felt like the cushioning was too much in the lower back (better than the broken down ones at Coeburn). By far better than what we had.. but hopefully they will continue to put money into the cinema and not let it fall apart like the other ones.

Knocked Up. Favorite part of the whole flick is when the girl tells the guy she's pregnant. His response: "F*** off!"

    Re: Last movie you watched

The Strangers - roughly based off the events of the Keddie Murders. It was actually a lot better than the rating people are giving it. It wasn't supposed to be an over-the-top horror film, or a "jump out of your seat". It was just showing how simple murder, and crimes can be in the USA and how easily people can just walk away.
I though Liv Tyler did a fantastic job, and actually made you feel the suspense. Loved the film. Easily gets an A.
